Yowani moves to a new temporary 9-hole golf layout during the redevelopment of the golf course.
- Play is on a 9-hole 18 tee layout – see Stage 2b map
TEMPORARY HOLES – The 1st/10th is a temporary Par 4 hole followed by the 2nd/11th playing as a temporary Par 3 to the former 10th green.
NEW HOLES – 3rd/12th, 4th/13th, 5th/14th and 6th/15th. To move to the 3rd/12th tee please take the path to the left of the 2nd/11th green and follow the signs. Further signage will direct you around the new holes. After hole 6/15, signage will direct you to the existing 7th/16th tee to complete the 9/18 holes (see map overleaf).
LOCAL RULES – check the Pro Shop Noticeboard for additional Local Rules applying to the new holes
CARE FOR THE COURSE – All players must carry and use a sand bucket to replace their divots and/or fill a hole with sand.
- It is very important to replace divots on the new holes;
- Walk with your sand bucket to fill in other divots & holes;
- Repair pitch marks on greens; and
- Use mats if provided on the 6th/15th par 3 hole.
WHEELED TRAFFIC NEAR GREENS – Do not wheel buggies near the greens and particularly between bunkers and greens.
GOLF CARTS – On the new holes carts will be restricted to the rough only. You may cross the fairway at 90 degrees when required.
Keep golf carts at least 15 metres from greens at all times except where there is a designated path within 15 metres of a green. Carts should also remain on paths around the course where practicable.
