The Sunday, 14th September 2025 stroke event is set for maximum stroke for all players. This means that, if you are 5 strokes over the par of any hole, the player must pick up and move to the next hole.
You will not be disqualified. A player will be allocated a score of 3 over nett par for the hole played for handicap scoring purposes.
Maximum score in stroke play is a new format introduced to enhance the pace of play:
- A player’s score for each hole is capped at a maximum of 5 over par for a hole.
- If a player does not hole out, they receive the maximum score for that hole, which helps manage the pace of play.
- This format encourages players to stop playing a hole when their score reaches the maximum, promoting a faster game.
